This series explains the energy of each gate around the Emotional Solar Plexus Center so you can learn to harness your natural passions and creative energy to manifest the life you desire. For each gate, we’ll cover the circuitry of the gate, its gifts and challenges, its “passion,” and practical ways to apply this information. These points hold true whether your Solar Plexus Center itself is defined or open. The Introduction to this series can be found here.
Circuitry
Every gate energy belongs to particular circuitry within the chart, which is like an electrical circuit board. This circuitry shows the evolutionary role of the gate energy and how the energy moves through the chart. Each Circuit Group has two Circuits within it.
Circuitry of this Gate
Circuit Group: Tribal
The Tribal Circuit Group is concerned with survival of the tribe. It provides support and protection for family and community and transforms individual ambition into teamwork. This is group energy in which the good of the tribe/family comes first.
Circuit: Defense
The Defense Circuit energies provide protection, resources, procreation, caring, nourishment, bonding, transmission of values, and even the impetus to fight. These energies create strong families and united tribes to ensure survival.
High Expression of this Gate
If you have the Gate 6 defined in your chart, you are here for both impact and intimacy. This is an emotional and creative energy that can include creating new human life through sexual intimacy. It is also an energy that defends the tribe and will wage war if needed.
Mostly this energy functions as a gatekeeper determining when and with whom you will be intimate. Gate 6 is part of an “emotional wave” channel to the Solar Plexus and so it’s best to take time to make correct choices. This involves managing the wave of emotions (your own or from others) from the Solar Plexus Center and requires emotional maturity for optimal choices. War and procreation are not to be entered into lightly!
When conflicts are resolved, intimacy can follow. Thus, if you have the Gate 6 defined, you can also be a peacemaker when the mood and timing are right.
Low Expression of this Gate
In the low expression, this energy is called conflict or friction. While growth sometimes requires friction—think of friction in the muscle when doing a bicep curl and how it results in muscle growth—this energy can at times resort to unproductive conflict and friction just to make an impact.
As the Spleen Center has fears associated with its gates, so does the Solar Plexus Center. The Gate 6’s fear is the fear of intimacy.
Passions of this Gate
From an emotional perspective, your passion with the Gate 6 defined is to connect intimately with others… or at least to make a lasting impression! Learn to leverage this passion to create the relationships and intimacy you desire.
This is powerful tribal energy penetrates others’ auric fields which may be uncomfortable for them. Keep in mind that intimate interpersonal connection may not be as natural for others as it is for you.
Tips for Using this Energy
-Pay attention to your feelings and mood and the effect you have on others. You may be unaware of your impact.
-If your Gate 6 and your Solar Plexus Center are defined, wait for clarity through your emotional wave in ALL things. You are not designed for quick or spontaneous decisions.
-If your Gate 6 is defined but your Solar Plexus Center is undefined, the intensity of others’ emotional waves will be amplified and expressed through your Gate 6 energy. So be especially aware of your mood and your impact.
-Realize that others may not be ready for, or comfortable with, your natural level of intimacy.
-Trust your own sense of inner guidance and timing (follow your Strategy and Authority) to know whether to focus on friction and conflict in a given situation or to smooth the troubled waters.
