This series explains the energy of each gate around the Emotional Solar Plexus Center so you can learn to harness your natural passions and creative energy to manifest the life you desire. For each gate, we’ll cover the circuitry of the gate, its gifts and challenges, its “passion,” and practical ways to apply this information. These points hold true whether your Solar Plexus Center itself is defined or open. The Introduction to this series can be found here.
Circuitry
Every gate energy belongs to particular circuitry within the chart, which is like an electrical circuit board. This circuitry shows the evolutionary role of the gate energy and how the energy moves through the chart. Each Circuit Group has two Circuits within it.
Circuitry of this Gate
Circuit Group: Tribal
The Tribal Circuit Group is concerned with survival of the tribe. It provides support and protection for family and community and transforms individual ambition into teamwork. This is group energy in which the good of the tribe/family comes first.
Circuit: Ego
The Ego Circuit energies govern the structure of how we function in groups, including laws, values, business agreements, marriage, families, communities, and management of resources. It contains emotion, but no logic (that’s in the Collective Logic circuitry).
High Expression of this Gate
If you have the Gate 37 defined in your chart, you have a strong focus on your “tribe” and on creating peace and harmony around you. You are the one who holds the family together and you love the fellowship and food of family and community gatherings.
This is projected energy so you feel best when you are recognized by your community and are clear about your place and role… “how you fit in.”
You are a natural hugger and nurturer and you tend to build friendships and strategic alliances based on agreements: you do this and I’ll do that. This is the high integrity version of “quid pro quo” and based on win-win.
In your highest expression of this energy, you recognize inner peace as the true source of outer peace and you’re careful to stay grounded and emotionally aligned with peace and harmony. You are able to choose peace regardless of outer circumstances, or return to peace quickly after bumps in the road.
Low Expression of this Gate
There are several low expressions of this energy if Gate 37 is defined in your chart. You may not wait for or accept recognition from your family or community. You might be unfair in your bargains, not keep your agreements, and not trust others to keep theirs.
You might not be skilled at returning to peace and harmony after a disruption, and be slow to regain your stability and re-align your emotional energy.
You might be so invested in giving to others that you fail to replenish your own “cup” and serve others from your cup not your saucer, further depleting your reserves. (I first heard this analogy from Lisa Nichols, who was in The Secret, and I’ve never forgotten it. It is so applicable to the Gate 37.)
Finally, you may withdraw from others, rejecting and walking away from the very acceptance and belonging that you so crave. This is emotional energy!
Passions of this Gate
With your Gate 37 defined, you have a passion for peace, harmony, and fairness, and for creating agreements that bring these forth and support them. Though you choose to keep peace in most circumstances, you are not necessarily passive–you can be a warrior for peace (in a peace-guided way).
You are fiercely loyal and feel heart-broken when agreements and/or loyalty are not upheld. You are also passionately physical in your expressions of affection and connection, so being in quarantine or social-distancing from friends and family is harder on you than on most.
Tips for Using this Energy
-Create habits and practices that connect you with your inner peace and sustain your alignment with a peaceful emotional frequency.
-When things get stressful around you or within you, focus on your intention to sustain true peace, then BE or DO what brings you back to that; after you’ve been knocked off center, take a few moments to return to and realign with your core of peace and harmony.
-Be sure all agreements are VERY clear to all parties, no assumptions or ambiguities.
-Take a few moments to explore and perhaps re-define peace—what it looks like, feels like, its true meaning—and meditate on it often. Deliberately cultivate inner peace.
-Be active and involved in your tribe and communities, and be patient for their recognition of your contributions.
Next gate moving clockwise around the Solar Plexus Center:
Gate 22, with a passion for “creativity and grace.” If your Gate 22 is defined, start noticing when you’re in a state of grace and creative flow, and when you’re not. Both are important and part of who you are.

Thank you for this interesting description
Evelyn thanks for these series. It would be helpful to also understand when the gate is not defined in your chart how the energy works.
