Series: Voices of the Throat #2 – Gate 62 “I Think” 

This series explains the energy of each Gate around the Throat Center so you will know how to communicate effectively and authentically as YOU.  For each gate, we’ll cover the circuitry of the gate, its gifts and challenges, its “voice,” and practical ways to apply this information. Every gate energy belongs to particular circuitry within the chart, which is like an electrical circuit board.  This circuitry shows the evolutionary role of the gate energy and how the energy moves through the chart.

Circuit Group:  Collective
The Collective Circuit Group serves the greater good and our collective values. It shares information, opinions, experiences, solutions. It is not personal.

Circuit:  Understanding/Logic
The Logic Circuit energies use patterns to understand our world and predict future outcomes.

High Expression of this Gate:

If you have the Gate 62 defined in your chart, you have an eye for detail and are good at organization (though this may be selective—you may not be organized in all areas of your life, just in some). You are able to communicate complicated information with logic and clarity, and fascinate others with your knowledge.

You can usually function quite well within organizations, and you may love to sort, label, assemble, and organize things.  You can be quite methodical and may love to test things and synthesize the results.

Language itself is seated here in Gate 62. You speak with authority when invited to share your gift for details.

This is also a gate energy that connects humans with animals and has led to their domestication and training.

Low Expression of this Gate:

You struggle with keeping track of details or with getting and staying organized.  You get mired in the “weeds” and may “fail to see the forest for the trees.”  You also may bore people with unnecessary information.

Since this energy is projected (not connected to any of the motor centers), you must wait for the right timing to share your knowledge, or else people won’t understand you or appreciate what you say.

Your Voice with this Gate:

This gate uses the words, “I think…”

If you have this gate defined, it’s appropriate for you to say those words often and apply logic to your thought process. You are designed to use your “gift for details” to explain information and to convince.

Tips for This Time of Year:

-Use your capacity for details to organize holiday activities, research your purchases before making them, and plan for 2019.  Of course, always follow your Strategy and Authority to take action correctly.

-At parties and family gatherings, only share details when asked or encouraged.

-Notice your emphasis on “logical thinking” and make a little room for “sensing” and “knowing” which are other valid ways of having awareness.
