This series explains the energy of each Gate around the Throat Center so you will know how to communicate effectively and authentically as YOU. For each gate, we’ll cover the circuitry of the gate, its gifts and challenges, its “voice,” and practical ways to apply this information. The Introduction to this series can be found here. Links to the rest of this series are at the end of this post.
Every gate energy belongs to particular circuitry within the chart, which is like an electrical circuit board. This circuitry shows the evolutionary role of the gate energy and how the energy moves through the chart.
Circuitry of this Gate:
Circuit Group: Individual
The Individual Circuit Group serves the world by bringing forth uniquely individual change (mutation) which indirectly empowers others to transform. It is personal energy, here to follow its own direction and not fit in with others.
Circuit: Knowing
The Knowing Circuit energies are agents of the creative process which drives human growth and evolution. These energies understand the world by simply “knowing,” not based on logic or experience.
High Expression of this Gate:
If you have the Gate 23 defined in your chart, you are able to communicate the genius thinking of the Gate 43 and be the catalyst that initiates others into your own new and “mutative” ways of seeing the world.
However, since “knowing” isn’t logical it can be hard to articulate it clearly. You must wait for the right timing to speak about your unique perspective (using your Strategy and Authority). Don’t “cast your pearls of insight” before those who aren’t interested and aren’t asking for your knowing. They won’t hear you, or they won’t value what you share.
Some people simply are not ready for your unusual ideas. Don’t take it personally. Waiting for right timing will help you be recognized as the genius you are, rather than dismissed as being a “freak.”
With your inspired inner knowing and broad awareness, you embrace diversity and foster tolerance for new ideas and dramatic new insights. You explore what you know and what you don’t know. This allows you to expand what is possible and improve efficiency around you by quantum leaps, not by incremental baby steps.
Low Expression of this Gate:
In the low expression, you aren’t waiting for the right timing so you struggle to clearly explain your knowing and your insights. If your audience isn’t receptive, you are viewed as an oddball and not valued or respected appropriately.
Because you are busy listening to your inner knowing, you may seem to be “deaf” when others talk to you. You may also come across as a “know it all” who doesn’t listen.
Another potential pitfall of the Gate 23 is talking about what you don’t know… as if you do know it. Be careful to speak only from your true knowing.
The entire Knowing Circuit can carry a sense of melancholy and isolation. People with defined gates or channels in this circuit can struggle with this, sometimes feeling like they’re on the outside looking in.
Your Voice with this Gate:
This gate uses the words, “I know…”.
If you have this gate defined, it’s appropriate for you to say these words often, to speak with authority, and to trust what you “know in your bones.” Remember, this has nothing to do with logic or experience.
You are designed to use your “gift of knowing” to bring forth innovative thinking. You have a talent for breaking novel concepts into understandable bits that can be explained.
Tips for This Time of Year if the Gate 23 is defined in your chart:
-Apply your innovative thinking and your keen awareness of what needs a complete overhaul as you are planning and envisioning for the New Year.
-Choose your words and your timing carefully, to ensure that others are truly ready and will understand your innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
-Pay attention to all the ways in which your inner knowing has been shown to be true. You might write down these realizations in a daily log, journal, or special notebook. This will help increase your trust in your “gift of knowing.”
Next gate moving clockwise around the Throat Center: Gate 56, with the voice, “I believe.”
If you have the 56 defined, start noticing how often you say that or find yourself saying, “I don’t believe…”

Happy New Year Evelyn,
This newest series, which you have graciously created for us has been very helpful and meaningful especially as we get ready to greet this new year!
Addressing one gate at a time allows us an opportunity to take it in, integrate what you have shared and then apply it as it relates to us or to anyone else. Thank you very much for providing these valuable interpretations.
Wishing you an abundantly blessed 2019.
Linda
